Silvanus Foundation Successfully Concludes 5th Annual Benefit Concert & Forum
Silvanus Foundation is grateful to share the outcome of our 5th Annual Silvanus Foundation Benefit Concert & Forum and to reflect on a journey that began in 2020.
This year’s event raised ~$14,000, bringing our total to over $102,000 raised across five benefit events since 2020. Each event strengthens our mission: to honor fallen firefighters and support their children through education, leadership, and long-term opportunity.
Beyond the funds raised, we are especially proud of the quality and impact of this year’s program. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback describing the forum as high-caliber, thoughtfully curated, and deeply meaningful.
Program highlights included:
* Nathan Liu's opening remarks on our mission and vision
* A fireside conversation between Nathan Liu and Dr. Wayne Liu on leadership, purpose, and AI
* Panels on college readiness, life readiness, AI & innovation, and youth creativity, featuring Mark Lucas, Ed.D., Dina Venezky, PhD, Fiona Yu Bai(白羽), Anni Ankola, Cynthia Wang, and Selina Xu. Moderator: Raeanne Li (Panel 1) and Nathan Liu (Panel 2)
* Inspiring student performances by Ellen Cheng, Jonathan Szeto, Aaron Ma, Liliana Abraham, and Nathan Zhang
* Service Award for the high school students who contributed three years of continuous service in Silvanus Foundation's events. Congrats, Jonathan Szeto, Erika Wang, Raeanne Li, and Ted Chu
We were also honored that From Bravery to Brilliance: Igniting the Future was featured in a national press release, recognizing the growing impact of the Silvanus Foundation.
Silvanus Foundation has:
* Raised $102,000+
* Funded 22 scholarships
* Built a community united around service, education, and leadership
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Together, we are truly turning bravery into brilliance.
